Tom Ham harvested this beautiful 10 pointer on the first evening of his hunt. Tom was on a management hunt and he and his guide were hunting this deer based on the trail camera picture we had of the deer in mid July. The trail camera scouting really helped us get Tom on this buck!

Jim traveled from his home in Nebraska to hunt for his first time in Missouri. Jim hunted very hard in extremely hot weather conditions and was able to harvest this beautiful 125 inch 8 pointer on the 2nd morning of his hunt. Jim stationed himself on a hardwood ridge that had several red oak acorns on the ground. This buck creeped on to the ridge early in the morning and Jim made a perfect shot.

Bill Bugg made a trip from Washington for the second year in a row to hunt at Halls Creek. Bill harvested this almost 145 inch giant on the 3rd night of his hunt. Bill saw this buck on the 2nd evening of his hunt but could not a get a harvest opportunity. On the third evening Bill set up for a south wind on a clover food plot close to where he had seen the buck the night before. As often happens, right before dark this buck came in to the edge of the field and offered a perfect broadside shot.

Lanny Lambert traveled from his home in Oklahoma to harvest this extra wide 9 pointer. The buck gross scored right at 136 and we estimated his age to be 5. Lanny used his TC Encore and made a perfect shot at about 100 yards. We had seen this buck a few times during the summer on scouting cameras.
We had this trail camera picture of this deer from 2006 in mid November. He had gone completely nocturnal and this was the last known sighting.

We estimated him to be 9 years old and he had taken a drop on antler size from the 2006 season. As harvested the buck gross scored 144 inches and in 2006 his sheds scored 163 as an 8 pointer! The trail camera picture shows the mass he still carried even as an "Old Man".

On the first evening Scott took a stand overlooking a large clover field with mixed turnips and rape. Within the first half hour Scott spotted this tremendous buck entering the field about 60 yards from his stand. Scott made a perfect shot on this buck and was able to take his "chocolate" horned beauty back to Michigan.

Christie had several encounters with giant whitetails and even "missed" a 170 inch giant on her first evening (we have all gotten "buck fever" before). But Christie hunted very hard and spent the majority of day light hours trying to harvest a world class whitetail. On the third day of her hunt, she and her guide slipped into a known big buck bedding area and harvested this magnificant animal at 1:45 pm in the afternoon. Rachel came to Halls Creek to hunt her first deer ever. On the 3rd evening of hunt Rachel harvested this deer as it fed into a secluded field. Rachels' boyfriend Jimmy has been guiding at Halls Creek for the past 4 years and had Rachel very interested hunting.
